A King Among Kings

Brought by three kings,

Who followed a star,

Three gifts for the baby

They sought from afar.

At the sight of the three,

Joseph, Mary and Son,

They knew they’d arrived,

This babe was the one!

At once they fell down,

Deep in silence adored,

The child in his blankets,

This baby their Lord.

Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh,

They offered oblation,

Gifts for the new born,

To show their elation.

So solemn their homage,

The Magi could see.

His birth for mankind,

An Epiphany!

This manifestation,

For Gentile or Jew,

Christ King among Kings,

The Savior brand new.
